I popped back in to list tomorrow's food and take some planned snack foods off of today, since I didn't get to them. My calories are low for the day, but I'm not hungry, so, yeah.

We got the chicks moved to the bigger chicken run - they can see the big hens, and the big hens can see them, but they can't get to one another. It's a good arrangement for getting them acclimated to one another. I did a new planting of beets, carrots and lettuces in the garden, and planted another summer squash in a spot that I think one will fit. I am probably wrong, since they get so big, but I never learn when it comes to planting 'one more thing' in the garden. We got two more walls framed out in the basement, and celebrated that with slurpees. I've been talking about getting one for 2 weeks, and finally did...and I had the calorie space for one, clearly. It's not the healthiest thing, but overall, I'm eating a lot better than I used to and this was a treat.

After supper I ground some turkey breast - I'll be having a turkey burger tomorrow for supper, and I froze some for future meals as well. I made two lunches by putting together various leftovers from the fridge - I'll take one tomorrow, and I put the other in the freezer for some future busy day. I also made a couple of breakfast burritos - I have to go into work early tomorrow, so I want something I can take with me. I'll eat it after the first hour, so my stretch to lunchtime isn't so long. I'm happy to have a few things pre-made to make the next couple days a little easier. Tomorrow night I think I'll make some mini meatballs with ground turkey and mushrooms to put with spaghetti and sauce...but we'll see if I have time and energy for that when the time comes.

Off to get a shower and get to bed - I'm ready for some sleep!
