catinhat's Journal, 20 June 2017

I found a book at the library yesterday that should help me with lower fat eating - it's The Happy Herbivore by Lindsay Nixon. I've put a couple more on hold, too.

I'm not really interested in being vegan, but for now, when I need to eat very low fat to let my gall bladder recover from whatever set it off, there are some good options here. I like pretty much every kind of food I've ever tried, so eating plant based proteins for a bit won't be a huge strain for me, other than the added meal prep of stuff separate from what the family is eating.

I'm in less pain this morning than I was yesterday, and hoping it is getting better. I am going to call the Dr. about an appointment, though, to see what can be done.
