Back on the wagon after a "cheat" weekend. No excuses for the cheating - it has been a long time, but I could have been better and not caved on the "food as an award" premise. I am better than that - and I am not a dog - I should not reward myself with treats!!!

I hear you on this. I have a tendency toward this kind of eating and it is very challenging. Emotional eating is my huge weakness. And rewarding with food is just another emotional response. We can do this with mindfulness!!!!

OMG I love the comparison of people who treat themselves to food as being dogs. That is so on the money! Besides, why spend cash on more food when it could go towards clothing (that now fits well!), a trip, or a concert? Live the lifestyle of the thin & healthy!
