I need to cut back on salt! I guess the older I get the more I retain water. So frustrating. I am trying to plan my OWL for the next few weeks. This week it has been tomatoes. I had some yesterday and today I am supposed to abstain and pick it up again tomorrow, so every other day.
So this is my plan for the next few weeks for veggies to incorporate into OWL and their order.
OWL1: Tomatoes OWL2: Jicama OWL3: Spaghetti Squash OWL4: Turnips OWL5: Eggplant
(Other thoughts of never eaten veggies mentioned and to consider putting in the rotation: chayote, sugar snap peas, ...)
I also want to plan to include familiar veggies: pumpkin, green beans, broccoli, and peppers
