HELL WEEK CHALLENGE Begins today...and I'm going to make that my incentive to become re-dedicated to my goals that have been elusive for a while!!

MOTTO: ONE DAY AT A TIME + PLAN FOR THE NEXT DAY
(i.e., focus on accomplishing goals for today, and plan on things to ensure success of tomorrow. That's all--nothing beyond today and tomorrow).

Goals:
Food: 4 bottles of water; under 20 carbs (DONE! tofu with grilled veggies in olive oil, soy milk with protein shake, 2 protein bars, 2 coffee with cream and 3 splenda total, 2 servings of mixed nuts!!)

Workout:
Running 30 mins DONE! wk 1, 4.0 mph/5.3 mph, 2 miles
Yoga 1 hour DONE!
3 sets of:
pushups 25 NO![/b]
Lunges 50 only 1 set done![/b]
wall squats 1 to failure Only 1 of 3 done![/b]
double leg drop 25 [b]NO![/b]

[b]Extra done:
[b]Bozu ball curls:
8 pounds, 2 sets of 15 reps on each side; and 5 pound-1 set.

Personal notes: Gym clothes fit snugly today..my tummy and thighs looked fat and unflattering. The heart rate monitor band felt very constricting today probably due to the bloating from this weekend's food fest! Running was harder too..could barely do 1 min at a time..just got through the 8 run intervals. Bozu ball stability was not as bad as I'd feared, but after my 2nd set of hold-and-alternate curl, I actually fell off the bozu ball (to my chagrin and embarrasment!), but was able to right myself and continue with lowered weight. Flexibility in yoga class was definitely lower, as was holding the stances tougher...just need to keep all this up..and I should see better ROM, strength, toning, tightening, flexibility..and confidence!!

Didn't push myself to finish my hell-week challenge...lesson learned that if I don't push and get it done in the gym--it ain't gonna happen at all! Also, need to add in crunches daily. And to refrain from yielding and picking up any refrained food on the way home as all the food in the fridge looks unappealing!

TWO WEEKS..through Feb 29, no cheating on the diet!! And daily working out will see me looking GREAT!!! AMEN!
