1 day down and 8 more to go for phase1...I have to admitt I had a minor setback early this morning....I had the urge for something sweet (and instead of eating frozen grapes, which hits the sweet spot for me) I ate a small slice of pecan pie...I know that was not something that I should have eaten, and the worse thing about it is that I was not even craving it... I think up to that point my mind was not registering that I was on my diet, sure I was doing it but not really being aware of my every choice mentally...Well that was a real lesson for me and I know that this is going to be both a physical and mental journey...prior to starting this diet I have been so committed to going to the gym, and I dont want to loose focus now that I have added the diet in...Focus Focus Focus is what I am going to do.

You can do it!!! I have been eating carrots and bananas today. I have eaten three BIG raw carrots so far, and a banana for breakfast and one for lunch. It's funny because I needed that little sugar fix, and I was looking forward to that banana like it was a banana SPLIT or something! LOL.

Thanks for the encouragement,you keep up the good work as well...I know the feeling of looking forward to a banana like it was a banana split! LOL..Well I am sitting here and it is not even dinner time imagining myself eating this recipe that I made up of brown rice, topped off with seasoned blackeyed peas and 3tbsps of spicey rotel.... I cant wait it is going to be like eating at a fine mexican resturant for me...well, at least that is what I am going to tell myself...LOL.Diets seem to always do this to me.
