Mine too but I just discovered 1 avocado has 5.6 g of carb so I can't have them for a year. Reread my Atkins 1972 book and was reminded why I can't have whiskey which has 0 carbs. sigh However, bacon...I love bacon and I can still have lots of bacon. My refresher was to get off the calorie mindset.

I just started seeing a doctor that discussed in great detail the foods we eat. He told me not to exceed like 30 carbs a day but eat all the good meat that I want and to refrain from fruits, root veggies, rice, wheat, bread & etc. He also shared with me how to count your carbs when looking at labels of stuff such as avocados and what to subtract from carbs to get the correct amount. I just started my weight loss journey yesterday so I'm going to double ck with him about how to get the carb thing correct. I'll share after I see him next week once I figure how to post rather than just comment on posts. I had no idea just how much of our food is packed with sugar, milk products, soy, & carbs until he explained in detail which helped me understand food better. Keep up the good work and remember WE CAN DO IT!

Correct, and it depends on what your individual Macros and RDI is. Once you have them set you can plan your meals for the week and be on your way to becoming a fat burning machine. I have been struggling with IBS, but since I've been on a low carb Keto diet I have not had that horrible problem and I like that a lot. All the carbs and sugar I used eat was the culprit in my life, but not no more. And yes, WE CAN DO THIS! just stay motivated and encourage each other, share your stories and progress. Motivation is like a wildfire, it can spread far and wide when things heat up a bit.

Charades...Avocado has a ton of fiber and is GREAT for you. Bacon is delicious and has it's place in a lc plan, but nutrient wise avocado is super good for you!
