Well. I'm very dissapointed in myself this week. I'm not going to give up though. Does anyone know the latest on coffee during induction. The only reference in the new Atkins information is that it being a stimulant it may inhibit weight loss in some.

I find that I am OK if I limit myself to 1 cup in the morning, but everyone is different. I may have overdone coffee in the last couple of weeks, which might be why I stalled. To get the best results from induction we are supposed to give it up entirely. You can have decaf, though.

If your totally addicted to coffee have a cup. I'm totally addicted to diet pop and i have 2 a day. The rest water. I find it ok.

Thanks for the comments. By the wy sararay, when I checked into the side effects of de-caf, I did not like the chemicals used to "de-caf" the coffee. I had just as soon give it up completly. Thanks again. They use Ethyl Acetate which is also found in nail polish.
