Lydia Kleyn's Journal, 09 February 2010

It's one of those weeks, were I wish the scale number was moving down but its not. I just need to hold my head high and keep working hard, it will come, I have a weigh in in the morning, tomorrow meeting with my personal trainer, I need to come up with some questions to ask him, b/c he was asking me what I wanted to learn, still have to figure that out!

Started training for my 5k last week, so now I am running 3 times a week for 30 minutes, with walking intervals thrown in there. I need to build on my endurance, I would just jump on the treadmill and run at 6.0 but after 10 minutes I was just pooped, but now I set it on 5.5 to 5.7 and I feel like I could just keep running, so once I work on my endurance then I will add speed.

Off to the gym tonight to watch my favorite show the Biggest Loser, that show is such an inspiration to me, I would LOVE to have a last chance workout with Bob and Jillian,
I could have gone on the Dr. Oz show this week wednesday they are filming there 100th episode and were inviting people who had lost more than 100 lbs to go on there show would have been fun to go to New York, to bad Im not local.

Need to stay away from the food today it keeps calling my name, going to go play Wii Fit instead.
Have a good week everyone

I ran my 1st 5k in November. I started with major baby steps. 1 minute jogging/5 minutes walking until I built up my endurance. I trained for about 2 months and I know what you mean about wanting to just jump on the treadmill at 6.0, but that is hard for me! I did my 5k in 39 minutes. Not the greatest time, but I did it without walking and that was my goal. Good luck training!
