I am going to try fasting for a few days ... I really need to work harder at changing my relationship with eating.

I like fasting. It really makes you think about the food your missing but at the same time think about why you're missing it. I find most of the time I'm bored and just reach for food for something to do.

be careful your body does not go into starvation mode even if you eat an apple it will give your body a little work to do
