Did some research on why Atkins isn't working for me and found out that some people just don't do well on it. That if you haven't lost at least 4 lbs during induction and are constantly hungry then chances are you are one of those people. Not every diet is designed for every person. So now I'm going to switch back to eating carbs and create my own diet. Talked to the hubby and he said in the Marines if they have an overweight Marine they have them eat a diet high in complex carbs and lower the over all fat and calories plus excersise. So I'm going to try it his way. The key will be switching back to carbs without any bad side affects. His suggestion was eating small portions of foods with carbs several times a day with some kind of higher protien higher fiber food. Cossing my fingers.

Just remember, it can be high fat and low carb, or low fat and high carb, but never high carb and high fat, and you will do fine, or so I have read :)

Thanks for the input :) The overall goal of my diet will be to have moderate-high complex carbs, moderate protien, and lower fat. The main thing will be the switch up of different excercises my hubby is going to help me with. He says the key to not hitting a platue is to do different stuff so your body doesn't get in a rut and has to 'stay on it's toes' so to speak. Time will tell if it works. I guess the most important thing is not to give up. ;]
