Today is my start date.
I am hopeing that someone on this site is on the Weight Watchers diet. I know nothing about it, and because of my busy schedule I am unable to go to meetings. I exercise at a curves for women 2x a week, and have a exercise buddy that goes for 3 mile hikes with me 2x a week. I have been exercise regularly for over two years, and suddently the weight is starting to pile on. Need to do something. If there is anyone out there who can help me out I would appreciate it.

I am doing weight watchers for the second time. The first time I lost over 34 pounds in 4 months and it was very easy! I ended around the holidays and just went crazy and gained all of the weight back in about a year. I am not going to the meetings either this time around. I think you'll only need to attend the meetings if you're having a hard time getting motivated or you need some menu ideas, but with this site I think it's just as good as the meetings! Make sure you weigh in every week here on this site and there will then be some kind of accountability for your loss or gain. You already have a great excercise plan so that part won't be a problem for you. As far as the diet goes you just need to count your points...everything that goes into your mouth needs to be counted! ( I am assuming you have the booklets with the point values to the food.) I usually don't use my extra points during the week so that I can save them for alcohol or treats on the weekends! I think weight watchers is an excellent way to lose the weight without having to eliminate foods from your diet. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. I really would like to help in anyway that I can. Good luck!

THANKS FOR THE ENGOURAGEMENT. NO I DON'T HAVE ANY WEIGHT WATCHERS MATERIAL. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO GET THEM. I HAVE HEARD ALOT OF GOOD THINGS ABOUT WEIGHT WATCHERS. I USED TO GO ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO WHEN MY WEIGHT WAS AT IT'S WORST AND WENT FROM 230 TO 163 WITH THEIR HELP. HOWEVER, THINGS HAVE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS AND WEIGHT WATCHERS DO THINGS DIFFERENT. I NEED TO GET MY BUT MOVING AND TRY TO GET THOSE MATERIALS THAT I NEED.

Hi! This is my second time doing weight watchers. The first time I tried it I had put on a ton of weight because I had quit smoking and lost 30 pounds; I felt and looked great. Once I lost the weight I got sloppy with the program and didn't follow through with it fully. I ended up with all the weight back plus an aditional 25 pounds!!! YUCK! The program really works and is easy to follow, I just got lazy and thought I could do it on my own-no way! If you have any question or need support, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm there if you need me.

I just started the Flex points with Weight Watchers. I am so motivated. The Last time I was this motivated I lost 40 lbs. Everything is allowed just account for the points. I also try to eat a fruit or vegetable with each meal and snack. I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. I only eat cereal that has 6 or more grams of fiber per serving for breakfast and a fruit. I stay full and feel energized all day. High fiber and High protein is the key. I like Newmans's Own light dressing, the Sesame Ginger and the Balsamic Vinegar. 2 Tbsp is only 1 point and plenty for two cups of salad. I like the frozen meals for lunch and two cups of salad. My afternoon snack is usually yogurt or a ceral bar (3 points). For dinner I like 2 cups of salad and 3-4 oz of lean protein and depending on whats left of my points either brown rice or a baked potatoe. I use the I can't believe its not butter spray 0pts. Good luck to you! I lost 3 lbs the first week.
