Trends, So yesterday I was in a lot of pain from my treatment on Friday. And I noticed that I cared a lot less about what I ate when I hurt! I did really well on my diet the first half of the day. However as the day went on and my pain increased I ate worse and worse. Although I felt guilty afterwards in the back of my head I felt as though eating would make me feel better. It was an obvious cooping skill I have learned SOMEWHERE in life. I had already took my pain medications and was laying in bed ready to get the rest I needed to feel better, however emotionally I was drained from being helplessly in pain all day. And apparently I thought could find comfort and relieve in the bottom of a casserole dish. This along with not being able to exercise earlier that day because of pain did not make for a good diet day. It is obvious that I am going to have to either find other ways to make me emotionally feel better when I’m in pain or make healthier options available that will fill the void of “comfort food”.
