What the hell??? How did I gain almost 3 pounds? I ate just over 900 calories all day. How did this happen?? I was feeling so good and now, blah! :(

It could be lot's of things. Google "why the scale lies" for some insight in to water weight gain. If you ate too much sodium yesterday, you can be up in water weight today. Did you weigh at a different time than yesterday. The scale fluctuates all day long. Many things effect the scale. Even our hormones can cause the scale to go up and down. Make sure your staying hydrated and keep going.

Thank you, Buffettbaby! I appreciate the encouragement! I do weigh at the same time each morning, but I did have 2 slices of ham for lunch yesterday. Maybe it's the sodium. Thanks again to both of you for your advice and encouragement!

You saw my frustration with the scale... I unfortunately enjoy my salty foods. Hello sodium! I've been trying to counteract it by drinking lots of water. I've heard that you take your weight, divide it by two, and drink that many ounces a day. I sit at a desk all day for 8-10 hours at work so I have plenty of time for water...and potty breaks lol

I too, love my salty foods! I have tried really hard to cut back but cannot give it up completely. That sodium really does a trick on you though. The 2 days that I gained weight this week was when I had eaten a small portion of ham and green beans for lunch. Great on calories, not so much on sodium. Oh well, you live, you learn. :)
