I've been doing some heavy duty body building at the gym. I'm still sticking to eating wholesome natural foods. The idea of fast food actually makes me feel ill and prepackaged foods are nauseating.

Anyways, heavy duty body building. For the past few weeks I've been going to the gym for 2-3 hours a day after work (which is physically tasking in and of itself) and cycling through toning up my body.

I was down to 197 a few days ago but now I'm up to 202. The reasoning? I've gained probably 8 or 9 pounds of muscle since then. It's ridiculous how much larger my chest and arms are now. Muscles I could almost discern when flexing a month ago are now standing out proud when relaxed.

I actually couldn't wear my favorite shirt today because the arms were too tight.

So, the goal now is just to knock out these stubborn love handles (really the only fat left on my body) and build some massive man muscles for my trip to the Bahamas in January.

I'll keep weighing in periodically but don't expect it to go down much more. I expect my weight to either stay constant as I lose body fat and gain muscle or actually go up as I build more muscle than I had fat.

I look at myself now and it's almost a miraculous change from who I was just a few short months ago. I don't even recognize myself anymore. I have dimples. DIMPLES. Where did they come from? It is a mystery.

I'm wearing clothes that I bought years ago. And back then they'd be pretty tight and uncomfortable and now they hang off of me. I had to buy a new belt because the one I had was too big even at its smallest eyelet.

When I say it's a miraculous change, I really mean it. It didn't take much effort at all to lose the weight and gain muscle but when I actually started the ball rolling it snowballed and my body kind of has a mind of its own now.

I guess I really was eating that unhealthily and getting so little exercise. It's like my body was just starving for some sort of chance to drop the weight and build muscle. It's really amazing to me.
