Doing well so far this week (that's good since it's only Tuesday)...but I have a challenge ahead of me in an hour: I'm going to a friend's house and they are going to have food from my favorite Italian restaurant there. I have a good number of points saved so I know I can eat something but I'm afraid because I know myself--when I start to eat something I love, I have a hard time with boundaries. It's hard to be satisfied with a little bit. I think I've gotten better at it over the past couple of weeks but it takes SO MUCH MENTAL ENERGY to have just a bite or two of something I love. I can do this...that's why I journaled...to psych myself up for this. I can do it...I can eat like a normal person instead of stuffing myself! It's about the people I'm going to visit...not the food. I believe that in my heart but it's a lot easier said than done.
