It irritates me when people that don't know anything about Atkins critisize the diet that I'm on.
It's not friendly debate if one of the parties doesn't have all of the information.
And at any rate, I'm losing weight faster on Atkins than any other diet that I've been on. So, there.

They won't have much to say after you loose a bunch of weight. I am having my blood retested after a few more weeks so I can tell people about how it improved my Triglicerides too. They can't tell you it is unhealthy if they don't know anything about it.

It irritates me when a 300 and a 250 lb woman tells me i'm on a dangerous diet. How is eating meat and vegetables dangerous? Aren't they the ones living dangerously by doing NOTHING? This bugs the crap out of me too. Sorry.

Today must be a venting day. =) We just have to do what we feel is best. Our results will be the best testament of what we are doing.

ooooooh! I just read the forum post you must have been referring to. We cannot feel anything but pity for people who remain ignorant and make comments based on what they think they know.

Actually, I found that post after I talked to a relative and she went on and on about how unhealthy it is. Of course this relative is 250 lbs and has never been able to drop and keep any weight off. I have another relative that was insulin dependant and since dropping almost 200 lbs. 2 years ago (and still keeping it off) on Atkins, he hasn't needed the insulin. I just wish people wouldn't comment on diets that they aren't doing. That kind of feels like the height of ... something. Argh. I'm going to go do some yoga.
