I am quite pissed off that I have been sticking to 1000-1200 calories a day and adding a little exercise to GAIN half a pound this week. That sucks. :( No, I will not be deterred! I will stay the course!

I think you are weighing yourself too much. There are normal fluctuations in weight. Doing all the right things and then thinking I actually gained weight is a big disincentive to me. I try to only weigh myself once a week. I'm thinking of only doing it once a month. Ultimately, what we weigh is far less important than how we feel. When I eat right and exercise, I feel better. Why let weight bring me down?

You're absolutely right. I know I am weighing too often . . . I'm just so anxious to see it go down! But, weight is just a number. I will try to weight only once a week. Thanks for the comment!
