not sure I've really lost .8 lbs in one day (doesn't usually happen), but am recording anyway because I'm so excited to see the scale heading in the right direction for once.
yesterday I turned down free pizza at work so I could say I stuck to my program. now I'm glad I did. all the little "exceptions" are what usually kill me.

When you turned down the pizza at work you were empowering yourself to stay with the plan. Keep up the plan and the scale will reward your efforts.

Free pizza isn't free! It always costs us something in the end...Calories, weight, guilt...Nice job staying on track!

There is a mental battle we have to win at. Walking away from certain foods should not be seen as going without, but helping us be our better selves. If that pizza was a 20 pd bar bell and you had to carry it around with you all day, it would be easy to leave it alone.
