I had actually gone up to 185. It finally scared me enough because it was only 2 pounds lower than I was a few years ago when I joined Weight Watchers and lost 20 pounds. Plus, as you can see, I got as low as 163. I caught a cold and that helped get me started! Plus, I went on a trip with a friend, and I tend to eat less on trips. Less snacking. Anyway, even though I'm up according to my last weigh-in in July, I'm glad to be down from 185, and I'm feeling good about my eating. I get hungry between meals, and enjoy what I do eat. Reinhard recommends eating pretty freely on weekends. I hope I don't take that as carte blanche to pig out. I did when I tried this last year, but I don't think of it as permission this year. I know it will perpetuate a cycle I don't want to.
