Sunrise's Journal, 02 January 2012

Happy New Year! I hit a wonderful new low of 241.5 today. It seems too good to be true since I was down 1 pound yesterday as well. I'll wait to see what tomorrow says before recording it. If it sticks, I'll be a half pound away from 30 pounds gone and right on the cusp of leaving the 240's behind forever!! I am so happy to be well on the way towards a healthier me. 2012 is going to be the year I reach my goal!

I managed to come down with a cold - first one I've had in a couple years. I'm trying to decide if I should still exercise today. I am tired and feel congested in my head, but I think I could manage my 4 mile walk today. I read somewhere that it's okay to exercise if the cold is above the neck. Don't know how true that is. I will probably do it - I want to see 239 by the end of the week :)

Good Luck to you! I wish I could find the motivation to get out there and excerise. I have none :( Maybe soon~

Sometimes the motivation is not there for me either - that's when I must simply CHOOSE to do it. Can I encourage you to just make the choice, regardless of how you feel? Often the motivation will follow :)

Happy New Year Sunrise! Look at you go! You lost right through the holidays and are still going strong. You should be VERY PROUD of that! Hope your cold goes away quickly. I'd say exercise if you can, but if your body is telling you it needs to rest, then do it. Sometimes rest is better.
