Crookedriver's Journal, 27 December 2016

My goal weight is proving harder than I thought to reach, I know what I am doing wrong, I eat chocolates (not dark) and lollies at my mothers place on Sundays while watching a Place Called Home (repeats, it so good).

I am drinking milk coffee instead of tea or even better green tea.

My exercise routine has dropped off a little!

I deserve what I am experiencing, my weight is not going down although steady.

I am not following my own advice as well as what I should, so once again I reiterate, do the research, do the exercise, eat the right foods or suffer the consequences!

Your Tony

I am so glad I have found someone who acknowledges my advice about WebMD, sometimes I wonder what people are doing on here, all I seem to see are people wanting to have a chat about how they don't seem to know what to do! If my fellow members join WebMD and follow their guidelines they will never look back. The best part is that this publication from America is entirely free! cheers Tony.

How are those chocolates and lolly pops on Sundays?

Phil, you are right, its hard to stop when your mother buys them, puts them in a bowl in front of me, gives me a milk coffee, I watch TV , have a coffee, some chocolates and lollies! In my house I don't have anything to do with sugar. From now on I am determined to stop the chocolate and lollies at mum's!

Probably should skip the milk in your coffee, too. But hey, if you're in maintenance be decadent!

It's Saturday, need to start thinking about how to avoid those chocolates and lollies tomorrow!

Last night at mum's, succumbed to lure of the chocolates again, even had some shortbread and of course the milk coffee. Weighed myself this morning, up .6kg, myself to blame again! I realise its not that easy to resist sugar, its like a drug, I am going to ask mother to get rid of it out of her house!

Don't fret too much, Tony, you can have your sugar fix on the weekends and maintain your weight, too, if you're a little more conscientious during the week.

Thankyou Phil, I appreciate your advice but its not so much the weight I am worried about, I can get that off, its what sugar does to your organs in the long term, I have a relative who drank coke every day, saturated fat food, no exercise, now suffering the consequences of her actions, my twin brother and I tried everything we could over a three year period to try and get her to understand that what she was doing was dangerous, I was concerned as well for my older brother, she was giving him the same food as well!

From that perspective, you're spot on. Eating clean is hard to do.

It's another Sunday, hope you resisted those chocolates and lollies.

I saw that you hit an all-time low this past week, maybe have a few chocolates and lollies today!?
