Wow, meetings all week. So ready for the extra long weekend!!! I did great during the meetings, had my snacks. I avoided the chips and cookies of the "lunch box meals" served, skipped the chocolate cake at another luncheon, etc. I was very proud of my self. TOM finally hit, so hoping the bloat is almost over. It has been miserable with bloat and a cough this week :)

I am really enjoying the new workout DVD. I am sticking to it every night. Just need to get to where I do in the mornings though, but with early meetings, has been easier after work this week. I like the rotation of the workouts so everyday not doing the same program. My arms are sure sore though. Haven't done that many pushups or plank position moves even in 30 Day Shred.

Hoping for another 1-2 pounds this Monday's weigh in!!!! Just down is all I really care at this point. NO MORE INCREASES!!!

Wow--skipping cookies and treats just before TOM? That is indeed something to be proud of! And you are liking your exercise regime. You're in a good place.

The sweets has been the hardest this week. I did break down and have a diet coke, which I was trying to be good and stay away from, but needed something more than water to satisfy that sweet tooth :) I know diet coke isn't a horrible chose. I also had some lifesaver spearmint candies. I had 5 in my purse and used those when craving hit.

I am thrilled to hear that you were able to skip chips and cookies. I had a chip attach one day (two days ago). It makes me even more happy for you, that is my weakness. I love hearing that you are doing so well. I think I might get that DVD too.

Deana, I have really liked the video workout. It has a lot of the Shred techniques, but all the moves are for 30 seconds, then you go to something else. You may repeat it again in a circuit, but the 30 seconds of some of the moves is a lot easier than for 2 minutes like in Shred. I was sore in new places after the first day of doing it. I think doing it and then still building in Shred a Day a week will make for a great combination.
