ByeFitlisha's Journal, 04 November 2016

Just to entertain myself since I been doing low carb I stepped on the scale this morning and it said i was down about 3 lbs, couldnt believe it so stepped on it again, it said i was down 2. I didnt want to step on it again and have it tell me something else and i start to get discouraged because im sure that would have caused me to emo-eat and I would have went right to a family size bag of chips. I dont trust my scale so im going to be looking for a new one. Although I want to base my journey on how i feel and inches lost i do want that number on the scale to go down in my favor. This weekend will be another 2 days of temptation because I dont work and all i'll think about is food.

You can get through. Purge all the chips/cookies/crackers, etc out of your pantry this weekend. Give them to a food bank or a neighbor. I've been finding a lot of support from listening to some different podcasts and webinars on healthy eating, diet, weight loss. I'm more of a food addict and have been getting a boost from the Bright Line Eating method-Susan Peirce Thompson. Hang in there. You'll get through.

Definitely- if you know you dont have the willpower just yet, GET THEM OUT OF THE HOUSE. I'm in full agreement with the idea of giving them to a local food bank, church, shelter, neighbor, *anything*. I'm sure your local church would be MORE than happy to take them off your hands for those in need. While you're off work this weekend, go grocery shopping for whole, healthy foods. Stock your pantry with stuff you wont be afraid to snack on: celery and bleu cheese dressing, and those yummy baby carrots. Perfect for snacking! Plain greek yogurt with some wonderful blackberries, raspberries or strawberries! Best of luck to you hun, and stay strong -- YOU CAN DO IT!!! :)
