8.4kgs down and now is the start of daily weigh ins. Very happy with how I am going. and nearly at my goal to start physical work which could make things interesting. I will be doing weight training which could add muscle and in fact increase my weight. Still I am happy with my outcomes again

You're doing so good! I think daily weigh-in's are a good thing. They teach us actions and consequences on our weight loss journey. Be prepared for days with no weight loss though. You'll have plenty of them - it's just the way it is. Overall, you'll lose weight no slower or faster.
