Pretty! It must be a lot to take care of the pond...they are gorgeous fish! Yeah, you definitely got a workout moving the fish to the basement tank today! Good for you!

Thank you ladies yes it is hard work but my hubby and I thought hey why not take this spot of grass we never use and make it into a pond I think we had five tanks in the house at the time! So it's so rewarding and we can play with it all year. The pond in the basement is a preformed pond we just set up for the winter. I don't want to leave them out all year. We have two red ear sliders as well but they are in an enclosed area and now we have to build something for the inside the house lol work work work that's what we do lol.

It sounds like you have built a real nice patio area. It is nice to have an area you can eat and drink outside. I wish we had a nicer area that way. Koi Ponds are so relaxing and nice. I thought it was interesting, that some friends bought a new, fabulous place, and when they moved in they changed their upscale, pool into a huge Koi Pond. They had like 3 foot sized Koi in their old pond, that they moved.

Very interesting use of space. My hat is off to you for innovative and forward thinking idea. Very cool. I've been reading up on meditation and Bhudist concepts of energy recharge. Fabulous spot for growing personal energy.
