Trying to get back into the swing of things after finishing school. I started out great, now I'm beginning to slip, almost feeling like I'm getting into a funk. I myself can motivate others into wanting and beginning a change with their weight and/or lives. However, I can't seem to motivate myself. I think it's because I get bored too easily....I'm mean real easy. I watch some shows and specials like "The Biggest Loser", that get me movitated right then and there. I just unfortunately can't do anything at that moment because I'm busy doing something else that needs to be done. Huge multi-tasker I am. My mind goes 1,000 miles a minute thinking of other things that it distracts me from doing what it is that I want, no, need to do. I blame it on being a Virgo (LOL). I recently read "Skinny Bastard" which only confirmed my thoughts about consuming animals and animal by-products. I've started making a change with regard to that. I've reduced my animal consumption to one to two times a week and have scheduled (in my head) to lower that to once a week, then eventually none at all. I know that in itself is a huge hurdle to climb after being influenced to eat that way for over 20+ years. Also, I found out that I have an allergy to wheat. Yay!!! Like I needed to hear that. Almost 90% of grain products are made from wheat. I get it. It's cheap to produce, and cheap to use. I just can't cut out those things like that. When I eat it, I don't feel any different nor do I "break out" with anything. If anyone decides to read this, which I hope you do, would you please be kind enough to respond with any alternatives and/or suggestions that you may have that you would think would help me to, 1.) motivate 2.) not become bored 3.) recipes for a vegetarian life style 4.) possible wheat-free foods in which I don't have to give up that "feel good food" in carbs, etc... Thanks

There are all kinds of vegetarian/vegan websites, even though your becoming a vegetarian- the vegan recipes can be modified to do not rule them out. If there is something in the meat world your missing look for a vegetarian recipe and there is always substitutions, since you enjoy cooking, just expierament (sp) with different things. There is this easy soup to make with a vegetable broth, carrots, frozen spinach and cheese tortellinis that is filling and good. When you go on fb, "like" all the vegy sites and they put up recipes all the time....good luck- remain positive- you will succeed
