F8thful1's Journal, 23 November 2011

Thanksgiving eve today; that means shopping and cooking. Will have about 20 guests tomorrow with some out of town guests, so probably won't be on FS for a couple of days.

I'm pretty secure in my eating plan, so I am not too worried. Am making all the traditional stuff for the family, but my mother-in-law is diabetic so for the two of us I am making a roasted butternut squash casserole and a small low carb pumpkin dessert. I'll eat turkey too and maybe my big splurge will be on a home-baked roll!

Blessings to all of you. Thank you for the support, the encouragement, the ideas and the challenges. My hope for each of you is that you can be thankful for a healthier you as a result of your hard work! Mostly, that you would know the peace and joy that comes with knowing the Prince of all Peace and the giver of all things good - Christ Jesus!
