It is a Happy Friday start vacation for Thanksgiving plus was rewarded with a pound loss on the scales. There was a surprise holiday luncheon today at work, which I declined to participate, so I went home for my salad. In addition they were some beautiful cakes and other desserts that deserved a second look...but I was able to walk away and not feel deprived. I am hoping to be down to 205 by next Friday and I know it is going to be a challenge with Thanksgiving, but I don't want to waste anymore time. Today, my husband is presenting a challenge with my best laid plans. he has committed himself to going to see one of the grandchildren in the Nutcracker tomorrow at the Saenger Theatre. I have been adamant that I will not be attending, however today he tried to lay down the guilt trip on me and pleading with me to go. I cut his conversation short and acted like I did not hear any of it...I am actually looking forward to the quite time at the house, besides I do not want to go and I do too many things as is that I don't want to do.
