This is a win. I had spike night last night and I only gained a bit. I went to the store yesterday and was able to fit into a size 6 jean. I never in my dreams thought I would ever be considering buying a size 6. :) Overall, yesterday was a great day and I'm pleased with how the spike night is working out for me.

Very nice job!!! Congrats on the size 6! I remember that feeling!! I just took my old clothes out of the closet size 10-12's I couldn't believe that when I put them up to me it was as if I could fit both legs into one! Very eye opening!! I had to take a moment...keep up the great work.

Katie: Spike Night is also known as a a carb night. It is a planned time when I will consume much more carbs than I usually would. My regular day consists of 10 - 20 net carbs (sometimes lower) and I consume about 200 net carbs on my spike night. The concept is to spike my insulin to assist in hormone regulation and reboot my metabolism.

Misty: I'm starting to look at changing out my entire wardrobe. It will be a process, not like I can go on a shopping spree. I'm really looking forward to taking out all my larger clothes. Although I plan to keep my size 16 pants that I started in. I remember buying them last year right when I committed to my program. My previous pants tore at the inner thigh and I was forced to purchase pants for work - now I'm glad I have a pair of pants that clearly remind me where I started.
