Question: Could use some help. I am inventing a new recipe called Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bars. I have all the ingredients thought out, I just need an Atkins-friendly alternative for the mini Chocolate Chips. I am looking for sugar-free choc chips made with Splenda, preferrably. I want to avoid buying them from netrition.com b/c the last Sugar-Free Choc Chips I bought from there a year ago were made with a kind of sugar-alcohol which gave me digestive distress. Any ideas of where I can find what I am looking for? Thanks in advance for your help... AND I will share the recipe with ya'll once I get this detail settled. = )

Russell stovers has some 'net carb' chocolate products on line, made w/ splenda. Not sure if any of them would work in place of mini chips...but that's the best I got for you. Now - how do I know this... was reading an article about Halloween...and it suggested buying only candy you really don't like for treaters that may come around...and getting yourself just one small bag of something you do like, and make it something worthwhile. That's when my brain went into overdrive, and I went looking to see if there were any 'gourmet chocolates' made w/ diabetics or something in mind. That's how I found these 'Net Carbs' chocolates. (that is their name, and you can find them on the Russel Stovers Website.) (Red package only. Green ones are sugar free, and no where near as good for you!)
