I just started recently exercising the past two weeks, and i have been super disappointed that i have yet to loose anything. I just thought i would AT LEAST loose 1 or 2 lbs by now, but nothing....
After doing some research on the net, they say it is more about finding what works for your body when exercising. So for the next two weeks i am going to try something different.
My work out schedule the past two weeks has looked like:
mon - fri -walking 30mins on lunch break -stair master on level 5 for 20mins (I worked up from 12min) or 20mins stationary bike -5 min butt toning exercises
sat - sun -2 hr intermediate wooded hikes with my boyfriend -5min butt toning excercises
On mon- fri (starting today) i am going to add a weight lifting regimen where I alternate muscle groups. I think this will add around 13 mins.
What do you guys think? Do you think this will help?
Am I maybe eating too much? (900- 1400 cal/ day) My vivo fit and heart rate monitor say that i am burning around 2200 cal/day

Honestly, you lose weight primarily from diet. Not to say that exercising isn't important, but diet is king. I can't believe you wouldn't have lost anything when only eating 900-1400 cal/day. Are you 100% positive you are counting correctly? Weigh absolutely everything (measurements like cups/tsps can be inaccurate)

Agree with notelaine, diet IS king. But if you are just starting exercising you might be retaining a little fluid in your (possibly) sore muscles. If that's the case, then your "lack" of weight loss (for the week?) may indicate you would have seen movement on the scale except for the fluid retention. You'll see it soon.

Yeah- i feel like my body has a vendetta out for me -_____-' but i will make sure that i am tracking everything i eat 100%. I know that i have been doing pretty well, but I also know that sometimes eating slips through the cracks...
I will keep this in mind when i start weight this week too. thank you again for your time <3

What kind of butt toning exercises are you doing? My butt could use a little toning!

Exercising is great for your body and I exercise a lot however I find that what really matters is what you are eating. We don't burn nearly as many calories as we think when we are exercising. Maybe use a heart rate monitor and you will know exactly what you are burning. It may help you. I don't count my exercise into my intake and basically use it to shape and tone my body. The shaping and inch loss will do wonders to how you look. I know when I lost 20 pounds with just food and no exercise my body looked way different from when I lost the same 20 pounds with exercising.
