Edited at the end...
It's weird... psychologically, 250 seems so far away. It could be because I haven't been 250 since I was around 14 years old so I don't even remember what it feels like, because it was so long ago, and I'm not exactly the same person as when I was 14.
It just occurred to me that I'm only 23.4 pounds away from being 250 pounds. It's just unreal to me. I think I've been so focused on how much weight I still have to lose to get to 199, that I've lost sight of how close I am to 250.
I am excited about getting down to 269 and being able to say I'm half way to 199, but for some reason, being 250 pounds by the end of the year is just a much more exciting goal!
Edit:
So I have an excel spreadsheet (I know, you're all surprised.. ha ha), and it tracks my exercise. I started it to see how many days I was exercising and setting up a schedule for what I was doing what night, and to track how far I walked on the treadmill. Well recently, I've started tracking why I didn't work out. I was finding that I wasn't working out during the week, and really needed to find out why. So it's something I'm still trying to figure out, but I think I'm just letting myself get too busy with other stuff that I get distracted from what is important.
Another thing that just clicked (and should have clicked a long time ago) was my walking speed. So I want to make sure my minimum walking speed is 5k/hour and then when I speed up it's a bonus. So I had been walking at 3mph. I knew that 5K was 3.11 miles, but for some reason my brain failed to recognize that it meant I should walk at the 3.1mph speed. Seriously?! So I was always wondering why I wasn't going as fast as I thought... well it's because my math is poor... which isn't a great thing to be acknowledging since I'm a CA, but we always joke that CA stands for "can't add", and I'm proving it to be true here.
Anyways, on to work and more productive things. It's going to be a long day. I'm up until midnight auditing the Max Millions draws... not the best part of my job, but it does earn me some extra time off, so I do it!
