This morning's brunch was 3 pork chops, nopales with a freshly made salsa, refried beans, a fried banana along with 2 corn tortillas. Washed down with coffee.

Yes that is steam rising from the plate. About as fresh as you can get it.

I am taking a break from the exercycle today. Changed my mind.

Nopalitos are cactus - the flappy kind and you clean em, you slice em and you boil them, then you can add meat or whatever to them. Good authentic Mexican cuisine!
