Dissapointed...banting has to be 100%...i was doing so well but i work with food and afetr 2 weeks , i ate some fruit , then i ate some more , back on track today!
191.8 lb Lost so far: 11.0 lb.    Still to go: 26.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If banting becomes too hard to sustain, try adopting the 5:2 Fast Diet. Read up about it on www.thefastdiet.co.uk and feel free to ask us questions about it as many of us have found it to be a sustainable and easier way of losing weight/fat

Thanks BBO , I have looked at that - how much do you reduce your intake on the 2 days and they must not be consecutive?

Well a Fast Day is a max of 500 calories for women and 600 calories for men. They must not be consecutive although some people do it consecutive. I follow the 4:3 method instead of 5:2 so my fast days are Mon, Wed and Fri. There's so much of flexibility so u can customize it to suit you. The trick is to eat high volume but low calorie food on fast days. Read my journal. I documented my journey from the start. Although banting works well, its harder to sustain but you can incorporate banting principles by eating banting food during your week to keep it low carb and enjoy your weekends by including carbs. It's all up to you to choose what works for u.

eating low carb during the week and carby on weekends is called CKD....works pretty well and is flexible, however do what you feel comfortable with because regardless of what diet we follow, we all have the same goal at the end :) good luck to you on your journey
