I did it! Today I fit in time to walk for half an hour. I left school and drove the 30 miles to where my hubby is (in nursing home, temporarily), visited with him for a while, then walked around a big block (one and a half miles!) and then drove home. Then I walked a little more, to visit several neighbors to ask them if they'd seen my missing cat. None had :( But I'm sure he's just out exploring --he's pretty independent, although he was neutered at 6 months-- and he'll be home soon.
