Not much to say. My husband and I went to sporting goods store in Mount Vernon than traveled almost 20 miles to Buchheit's in Centralia to looking for an Owl decoy. Read online that could keep Blue Heron away from our pond. We bought 2 of them. Hopefully the Heron won't be eating anymore of our fish. That was the biggest part of my walking; it accounts for time spent on reading. I do a lot of my reading in the car.

Aww I have a pond too. 500 gals 2 koi and 22 beautiful gold fish. They're in the pond in our basement for the winter now. Can't wait to get it started! I too have an owl. I can't read in the car anymore it makes me carsick.

One friend of mine turned his pool into a Koi pond and has the largest Koi I have ever seen.

Sorry, I don't live Washington; I live in southern Illinois. Closest of been to the state of Washington was Kalispell, Montana. Pretty country near Glacier National Forest.

Misty, Did you by the owl to keep Heron's away from the pond? I know there are a lot of Heron up there. Used to love to watch them from the cabin we stayed in; never thought I'd see them on my property. Bob, put the owls out this afternoon; we'll see if they work.

I miss the pond I built at my old house. It was partially above ground, never had a problem with animals or birds.

We really enjoy are property and the pond. Open the living room blinds every morning to enjoy the view. I've never seen so many colorful birds in all my life and the deer come to drink out of the pond. The first week we moved here we saw a family of turkeys walk passed the pond. A Jake, Hen and 4 babies; don't ever want to live in the city again.
