Really learning a lot about controlling portions. My Mom is very thin and always has been. At 90, I have always thought she just wasn't getting enough calories to keep her healthy, but now I realize that perhaps, her small portions is the key to her longevity. She says she is always satisfied and never deprives herself of even a decadent dessert, she just makes two or three times of it. Maybe I'm getting there, but my willpower is not as great as hers. Still the weight that has come off despite obstacles proves that using a scale and figuring all my recipes so I can have an honest calorie count has helped me SO much. Gonna win this fight. Hoping to hit 180 or lower by my birthday April 13. I know that doesn't sound like much of a loss but to me, it would be great! Slow wins the race. Have a blessed night!
