I got a sausage egg mcmuffin because I wanted some carbs but halfway through the sandwich I realized it was just not satisfying and I tossed it. I am making my first voyage to the gym in almost 2 years. Going swimming. I quit the gym bc I had a pinched nerve in my back that caused me horrible pain for over a year. At that time I was doing weight lifting, biking, and walking. I am doing swimming bc it is easier on the joints and my knee needs rehab I never properly did after surgery (torn meniscus). I am happy I am losing weight. ☺

Swimming is fantastic. I used to switch it up like 10 laps freestyle, 10 breast stroke, 10 only legs. I eventually made it up to 42-50 laps in 22 mins. Haven't been since November and really miss the full body low impact workout. Have fun!!

Excellent motivation. Next time order the egg white sandwich hold the sausage and go home with it and add some spinach to the sandwich. Always a way to have a healthy start to the day. To help you with the pinch never can I suggest you do some low impact cardio. (Take it from someone with arthritic knees the more I move the better it is for me.) Meditation CD's are also an excellent way to relax even more after you work out.

That's awesome! I too have a bad knee I think bursitis, still can't work out hard but I do, good for you! You can do it!
