My Fitbit is giving me problems. Not with the function of it but with the battery. First charge lasted about 3 day, then it went down to a couple of days, then I woke up this morning to find it had given up the ghost in the night. Less than 30 hours after charging fully. It is supposed to last 7 - 10 days. I looked on their site, followed all the tips and energy saving routines, which made no difference. Now it has been fully discharged and recharged I will see how it goes, but if it is no better I will see about a replacement. Disappointing.

This is brand new (only had it 10 days), and sealed for life. From their site it appears a lot of people have a similar problem with them.

Fitbit customer service are really good - if you complain to them that it's simply not keeping a charge and you've tried all the tips they will most likely send you a free replacement

I really didn't need to read this today as I caved in and bought one that's due to arrive this afternoon! I hope you get it sorted out soon :)

I cannot fault the Fitbit for its purpose. What I have read is that if you contact customer services they monitor your Fitbit remotely and if the battery is a problem send you a replacement. I'll see how it goes after the total discharge and take it from there.

Battery is showing half charge already, so I just emailed Fitbit Customer services. I'll keep you all informed as to what happens.
