Day one.
Today I started with what seems to be a foundation to build on. Vegetables are already a huge part of my diet..... As are M&M's and pop tarts. Im in denial about how much they are apart of my life. Frankly its embarrassing to record that much M&M's as the amount eaten.
The biggest realization I had this morning: A cup of Cheerios is depressingly small. Also the serving size for children under 4 years age is 3/4 cup. Meanwhile recommended serving for those over 4 years of age....... 1 cup.
Came home from work. Did not feel like going for a walk or to the gym. Typical. Saturdays and Sundays have traditionally been my lazy days. Monday will continue my weight training....
Goal: M,W,F weight training followed by walk. T,TH continue 10 mile (5up/back miles) bike ride.
More to come later.
For the record I've come off a 9 month lax in diet and exercise. I was down to 240. That is a weight I maintained for nearly 5 years. The past 9 months have been difficult as there have been adjustments to life recently.
So hopefully this will get me back in the groove.
