Today we have snow... I live near the bottom of a very steep lane and won't be going anywhere until I can walk without slipping! This morning I have re-calculated my RDI to 1300 cals because of this, I was tired yesterday because I had to get up early so snacked on bread and home made jam, now I'm feeling fatter today- serves me right.

Homemade jam is the best! A bit here and there is good from time to time.

I always make my own jam, I have fruit bushes and I found a great recipe for strawberry jam that involves wrapping the jam in a blanket for 24 hrs. You end up with whole strawberries- luvverly.
