what happens in the past stays in the past... never happened.. Today is brand new and so are you!

Lol, that's good! You just have to make up for it. Skip some meals, that's my solution. It's like punishing yourself for being bad.

This made me laugh so much I had to share it with my hubby. As Wyolady says today is a new day. Good luck

The beginning of your journal is funny!! I know the feeling, you can run, but you cant hide from your scale. Face your fears might not be that bad.

It's so unfair. We girls get to regularly blame the time of the month, and you boys don't. Clearly, it was a demon.

I know how ya feel,Ches. We were working on excavation at the burned down house today. Had take-out subs at the site, then pizza for dinner. Could have just died from the carb overload. Tomorrow, its a vitamin water-eggs- salad kind of day. Damn carbs. But tomorrow, is a new day.

Hey, Ches. Don't let it get you down. It happens to all of us. I asked my wife a few months ago to bring home a bag of Doritos. I just had to have a taste. When she got home, she hadn't bought an individual sized bag, she'd bought one that was about a foot and a half long and maybe 10 inches wide. You know the ones. Anyway, I poured myself a single helping in a bowl and enjoyed them thoroughly. I was good. I went to bed. In the middle of the night I woke up and... devoured the rest of the bag. It happens. Back on that horse guy.

Thanks everyone for your input. Getting back on that horse. Yesterday, I did 13,245 steps. I ate slightly over 1800 calories. Today the plan is 10K plus steps, a herbal tea fast, everything but "smooth moves" tea, I had plenty smooth moves when I head the stomach bug last week.
Thank you everyone again.

Ches, in your post you said "Please forgive me". Nothing to forgive and if it's a crime than I'm guilty as charged also, been fighting the monster recently. Just forgive yourself and move on which I think you're doing already. Mostly a water weight gain.

We all fall off the wagon sometimes. Sometimes when I'm having major sugar cravings I'll have a teaspoon of Nutella or half a glass of chocolate milk. I may not be binging but when you can't process sugar it shows.
Just take a deep breath, no one is going to be mad about a little set back. In the grand scheme of things this is just a blip in the timeline!

Thank you all again for this support. I work next to Chinatown in Boston and I just turned down an invite to lunch for what I know will be meat covered in carbs next to carbs with some sugar to wash it down . It took a lot in me to do so but it is a little step towards getting back on track.
