Another week almost done.. It seemed to go by so fast. Last weekend ended up being less than ideal and the scale on Monday showed that my weight went up.. However the scale is not the end all be all of weight loss (as I'm learning).

I was talking with my trainer and we are noticing little victories all over the place. When I was doing shoulder presses she pointed out my triceps which was cool to see. We noticed that I I don't need as much time between sets as I used to need to recover. Exercises that I used to hate (lunges) are easier for me now.

It's these things that are really showing my progress. I'm actually enjoying going to the gym 4 or 5 days a week for my butt kicking. While I want to see lower numbers on the scale (and I will) just because it went up one week is not a sign of failure.
