Like several other people have mentioned in their own journals, we all have times when restaurant food, cheat snacks, family get-togethers, etc...interupt our normal routines. My last one was celebrating my wife's birthday at one of our favorite restaurants plus dessert. Finally, the additional weight is starting to come off, and am back to where I started somewhere around July 8 after the 4th's holiday season. The interuption felt like it lasted 1.5 months. So far, this month, I am down about 3.5 pounds, and hope to be down to 200 by end of month. Through all of this, and my wife does not follow a prescribed plan, she has lost about 20 pounds from when she started noticing a loss on the scales. She eats as much or more than I do, burns 2000 calories or less per day, and is as healthy as she was when we 1st got married 52 years ago,...except for arthritis and a few other things that go along with migrating from youth to middle age. She does not mind the weight loss, and looks great. Me ??? I'm just happy I can still play golf with good scores at my age. Every one have a great rest of the week, and enjoy your life. God is good !!
