Well first off with all this H1N1 aka swine flu paranoia (sp?) going around it could of been much worse. And as far as the chicken soup thing goes, I'm going to give you pass on it cause sometimes we have to eat whatever to get better. Lol @ me giving you a pass cause when I first came to FS I was no way I'm giving up my meats but now I can say that you can eat a vegetarian diet and not suffer a bit as far as taste and nutritional value goes. Now that's progress lol.

When I have throat issues I live on tea LOADED with honey, frozen yogurt, and cheesy-bread. Diet goes out the window. Hopefully you'll be feeling better and back on track in no time.

@Splendid: For all I know I do have H1N1; it's been really bad here. In any case I'm recovering so it doesn't really matter. I don't know what it is about chicken soup, but nothing makes my throat feel quite as good. It's magic. But, uhh... Go veg, lol! @Shia: Thanks! @Divided: Ooh, I forgot about the tea thing. I'm going to go make some right now!

Some vegetarians, even a few vegans, use meat for medicinal purposes ONLY. On rare occasions,it is helpful to the body to have some animal protein. Personally, I don't think it is necessary to live vegetarianism like a religion. If you are avoiding meat 98% of the time, you are serving the earth, animals and your fellow man. Every change counts.
