Greetings! Ok, now that I am back from dealing with my first Hurricane (Beryl, what a wild time). In summary we are all fine. Even my waist. 😆
I look forward to getting caught up with all your programs! 👍🏻👍🏻

Glad you and your family are ok. Well done! I didn’t know you were a hurricane virgin🤣 I survived Andrew, Fran, Floyd… I’m a bit rusty now, hurricanes don’t seem to affect northern Virginia much.

YF, show off!😆. I don’t envy anyone having to go through that many hurricanes. I almost had to go through another in the early 2000’s. I was doing an audit in Houston and a storm was inbound. I chose to leave early by a day or two and almost didn’t get out. All the planes started cancelling. I think I got on the last plane out at 11:50 PM.
But this was a different beast for me. I feel blessed as we bought a home with a whole home generator. It saved us as power was out for approximately 3.25 days. My colleague still has no power. It is humbling what nature can do. I’ve had a couple run-ins with nature and all have left me feeling respectful and insignificant.
Anyway, I’m not feeling sorry for myself. Just appreciate all that has happened. Be well YF!

MorticiaAdams- glad to hear you didn’t have too much weather resulting from this storm. I pray it stays that way as it is early in the season.
