Good job making up that mountain. Be careful or the next thing you'll want to do is hike the Continental Divide Trail once its completed which would be cool to do too. 

Actually I've always wanted to hike the appalatians, kind of a life goal for me. I've read some insane accounts of it though, so maybe I'll never be that crazy. I have a picture somewhere of me randomly standing on the side of the road with my feet all wide apart - standing on both sides of the divide. Lol.  

wow grats! I love hiking so much and it's very good exercise. Now that it's getting colder though we can only go out for some walks but that's about it for outdoor activities

Climbing a mountain made me gain weight =(. Weird.

Fluid retention from muscle fatigue and tearing. It'll go away. Awesome job on climbing (searches on Google) HOLY S*** THAT'S A BIG A**ED MOUNTAIN! Climbing up there to leave your mark is kind of cool though. How many people does it take to whitewash the entire "M". 

Yeah I figured which is why I wasn't upset. Yeah, it's a big mountain, lol. You can even see the M in the first couple of pictures if you search "Socorro Mountain". About 200 came out, maybe half carried marble. It's really just maintenance - when the next rain happens it will all turn into clay and then, as it dries, something close to ceramic. Next year will be the 100th anniversary and there's supposed to be a big party at the top. I am NOT going without training next year!  

I am so proud of you. You know what I always say: "God asked me, as your mother, to guide you and love you, but He never asked me (or any parent of a child) to like you. But you know what? I really like you. I really do." If I were 19 and not your mom, I'd want to be your best friend. Same with your brother. 

Holy Moly, I Googled it to remind myself how big that mountain is and WOWSERS, I am even MORE proud of you! They would have had to bury me up there, haha. Oh, Man, you are awesome. 

I was one of the very slowest and practically passed out, so don't be too impressed lol, but it was fun, and next year I'll do better.
