Despite popular belief, fruit isn't that low in carbs. If you're on a Keto diet, watch your fruit intake. It adds up.
Volume: 1 cup Blueberries = 21g of carbs (15g sugar) Blackberries = 14g (7g sugar) Strawberries = 11g carbs (7g sugar) Bananas = 34g carbs (18g sugar) Cherries = 19g carbs (13g sugar) Avocados = 12g carbs (1g sugar)
Conclusion: The healthiest and lowest carb fruit is the Avocado (and it's not even sweet) with 92% of the carb content is fiber yielding a net carb of only 1g of sugar. Speaking of which, bought me 10 the other day because they were $0.39 each. :D

Where did you find avocados for $0.39 each? Around here they're over $1.00 each.

Aldi has avjocados for 29 cents each this week. Aldi by far has the best prices on them all the time.

I am learning to eat fruit like an occasional treat/candy. Who knew fruit and even healthy chips are so loaded with carbs and sugar! What a bummer.

The $0.39 avocados were being sold at Aldi. The only organic grocery store I know in town. There's a specialty organic store called Squash Blossom about 30 miles away, but the avocados aren't as cheap.

Neither of those stores are near me, however, the next time I'm out, I'll go to a different grocery store and compare the price. Thanks.

just a quick tip. you need not buy organic avocados. The skin is super protective, there is o need for pesticides.
