YOH, No I don't really miss home but usually when we return from these long trips I'm happy to be in my home. I am enjoying traveling but this is a major difference in what we normally do. We usually take off for 6-8 weeks in summer to get out of desert so time wise I'm used to being gone..The difference is we usually have 2-3 destinations and we camp about one to two weeks at each place. This time because we are traveling so far it's a night or 2 at each place. The set up and tear down every day wears on us a bit, especially after driving all day. We did stay a week in Co visiting my son and in 2 days we will leave Des Moines and go to Joe's brother's house for a week. After that most of the trip will be 1-3 days tops at each destination. It's tiring fOther than that the country is beautiful for sure!

It looks nice and peaceful. Are there others camping near you? It kind of reminds me of the park in my town with huge oak trees. I took Bobby for a walk there this morning, he enjoys walking on grass

Fritzy, Yes there are other campers but the way the RV park is set up we had a lot of room in-between. It was so nice. The campground we are in now is pretty but much different. We are packed in like sardines! They have lots of amenities but we have so much to do tomorrow we probably won't use them...🩷

YOH, we are going as far as Nashville and then south to Pensacola. Joes best friend lives there. Then after that we head home going through the southern states. We will probably stay in Alabama for about 5 days, we will stop in Houston to see friends, and then head up to Flagstaff for another stop. It's a loose plan, we don't have definitive plans after Pensacola. 💜

Storms, we went to State Capitol today. It was amazing. So fancy. The dome on it is actually gold. We climbed at least 200 steps to get to top. Very interesting tour! 💜 Oceangirl, thank you!! The driving isn't the best but still enjoying ourselves. Our dog is such a trooper. She goes wherever we go! 🩷🩷
